Gellert is sitting on the grass outside the Mansion with a large chocolate cake in front of him. In the chocolate icing the words HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY are written in white. A long, lean shadow falls across him and a pale figure in white sits down beside him. It's that pale gentleman he met back in the winter, the injured fellow who'd hinted at his own prodigious talents. His color has improved and he seems considerably more chipper than before. He glances at the cake and smiles in a crooked but friendly way. "I see birthday greetings are in order," he says

Gellert looks over at him with a grin. "Indeed. I'm getting old," he laughs.

"More like your adult life is just beginning: wait till you've celebrated your fortieth birthday, then you'll feel old," he says, with a laugh of his own. Reaching into a pocket of his white jacket, he takes out something folded in a shimmering black handkerchief, embroidered with red symbols and a large red patch that might be a triple moon and unfolds from it a deck of cards. "If I'd known, I'd have found a small gift for you, but in lieu of that, would you care if I read the tarot for you?"

Angelique comes on the tale of the re-lighting, and as she has no idea about Gellert's talents, she makes a soft little sound. "Wait, wait, don't blow them right away...."

She needs to sing happy birthday to him, first. What kind of a birthday is it, without a song?

He grins up at her. "Hello again," and pauses in his hand gesture.

Berger walks in as the magical fire is set off, and just says, "-- rad...."

As always, he's amazed by the magic, but in a 'oh wow this is friggin' cool' kind of way.

"Rad?" Gellert questions the word curiously.

"Awesome," he explains. "The magic lighter trick. I'd love to know how to do that - I keep on losing my matches."

"Awesome..," he laughs, thinking that was an amusing sounding word too. "You won't be able to do it, I'm afraid. Remember, I'm a wizard."
