2 hours into my shift tonight... my audio book ended. Having no back up oral literature...i was forced to switch over to the radio to maintain my sanity... and so .. for the next 5 hours (they kept holding us "just one more hour") i listened to the BBC give reports on the state of the world. by the time my shift was finally over.... i was ready

when you send a letter.. and decide you are going to use that super-uber-happy-fun-star font for the addresss.... and the USPS scanner robots blow fuses trying to figure out just where the hell you are trying to send it.... then all sad like.. the mail robots take pictures of the naughty mail piece and send it to us... where we try to figure out what your address says... and tell the robots so they can be happy again and not be killer robots

that is the main reason I dont pay attention to the news. I'm depressed enough as it is without people telling me about all the horrible thngs going on in the world. I like to hear about the positive things going on, not the bad. were you not able to change the station? I dont think I could have put up with that.
