We land in LA on October 12. I'll spend a week on the west coast with the family (I want to see the trees in Yosemite and sulphuroxide) and then I'll take a red-eye to New York while they continue their vacation up to SF and back to LA. Probably Vegas. They'll probably visit Vegas.

Sunday night (sorry, 3 on a Monday morning) and I'm still writing. One of the pleasures of going freelance is discovering I really only do begin to write at an unhealthy time, forcing it any other way works but not as well, and being able to embrace this as routine feels really good.

My skin is fucked up, though.
