HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Such loves, the both of them! Just like Aubrey to feel REALLY cooped up when on land...all those shifting social rules and delicate notions in the heads that navigate the waters of English society!!!

O'Brian never really does tell us if Stephen feels cramped on the ship though. Hmmmm....

I got it I got it I got it!!!

It's hilarious how Jack always assumes that Stephen just loooooooooves shipboard life. He just can't imagine any other way!

As for Stephen, I think Bettany is in the right of it when he says that Maturin has so many internal resources that you could lock him in solitary for 10 years and he'd come out more or less the same way he went in. I think the world and everything in it is so fascinating to him that it doesn't matter much what piece of the world he inhabits.

Me too me too me too!!! The last one in stock!

Eeeee, so great! I love Stephen thinking of the badgers he's known. *glomps Stephen*

That's just one of those little moments... it's a subtle connection, do you know what I mean?

Love these! :)

It's too subtle for my sleep-deprived brain, which is sadly reduced to Beavis-level "badger... barrel... heh-heh." Care to elaborate?

I was going to say, "no, he's exactly just cute enough", but then I realized that you're right. Exceeds cuteness RDA by at least 50%, even when he's in hostile mode. :-)
