Yay! I was wondering when another of your discovered jewels would adorn my friends' page :-) Happiness.

Others betray the lamenting lies of their losses
By the curve of the nude mouth or the laugh up the sleeve.

This kills me. *crumples up in her chair like an autumn leaf*

Usually I don't like Thomas (too many forced readings of "A Child's Christmas in Wales", which I like... but not enough to have to memorize/recite/have read every year)... but this is gorgeous. Verbosity... *heart*

Aw, I was just taking a breather. :-)

Isn't it great? I hadn't seen it before.

Verbosity! :-D Which I tend to dislike, but sometimes it works for me.

It's so bitter, self-despising. I wish I'd found a better quote.

"O make me a mask and a wall to shut from your spies
Of the sharp, enamelled eyes and the spectacled claws"

*nods* Quite.

It makes me think of how carefully he hides himself from others, even Jack. *sigh* He's like his tortoise friends that way.

It's really harsh. But I suppose not more than he's used to: he's the most effective of his tormentors. :-(

Glad to see you!
