Bees do love alcohol, for some reason. My family likes rafting, and there are always plenty of beer cans in the trash around whitewater places, and there are always an obscene number of bees buzzing around the trash bins. I don't know why.

But I love bees. Don't see what Jack finds so objectionable, myself, however cute it is..

Probably he doesn't object to a bee, or even some bees, but 30,000 bees flying around his bedroom, you can see why he might be a little testy. It was so kind of Stephen to buy Jack those hives for a wedding present. *g*
