Well, if the outcome would've likely been worse without your intervention then consider it worthwhile having done so. Although is it likely you'll personally be worse off?

What is it with violence in Chinese classrooms? Heh.

It may or may not have gotten any worse. But it had reached a point where someone had to make a decision, and I wasn't going to risk actual violence. I still don't feel great about it, but I don't think I would do anything differently if I was in the same situation again.

Nah, I won't be any worse off at all. He's not going to tell any of the teachers about it, because he'll just end up in trouble and I'll have the backup of 2 other teachers that something had to be done about him. Plus, I'm leaving in a couple of weeks - they're hardly about to fire me :P

There was some biffo while you were in Shanghai? Or are you talking about all the schoolkids that have been stabbed?

Question for you: Do you still have any contact with John B? I need to get in touch with him, but I don't have his email address any more.

Well then, as long as you're in the clear, nothing to worry about!

And yeah, I was just talking about Chinese schools in general with kids and/or teachers beating the crap out of each other.

I quit MRG (for the millionth time) in June, but because I didn't sign any forms or hand back that swipe card I'm still getting the emails, haha. He's at JBissinella@mrg.com.au

Sweet, thanks for that mate. I'll have to zap off an email to him soon, and hope he still has something for me to do when I return (I'm pretty sure he will, given how they're always asking you back :P)

Looking forward to catching up over a beer or several when I get back!
