How did you get your own shapes instead of just the triangles and lines and stuff the pattern maker has? O_O

On the Colour Lover site, in the design your own seamless pattern bit, above the shapes is the word 'Basic' and to the right of that word is a downward pointing triangle. Just click on that and there are different shapes available under different headings.

Thank you!

I meant to say, I love the patterns, too. Especially the bicycles. :D

You're welcome and thank you.

I mislaid over an hour yesterday playing around on that site :)

Loving the butterfly patterns immensely! My butterfly loving muse appreciates it (Namely Tal). One of these days I should upload the little patterns I made from Spoonflower. I made some Whovian ones.

Thanks. Hope you do share or show the patterns you created, especially the Dr Who ones :D

I'll gather them up, although fair warning, none of them are CAS'able. I just copy-pasted from Spoonflower into CAP

Eee! It's my dream skirt in sim form!!

Man, I hope mine turns out half as cool. I'll have to model my skirt once its done (it's a bit on the back-ish burner right now--I have a potential commission for a GIANT squid pillow). Too bad my hair is short now, or I'd put it into a mini bee hive and try to mimic your sim's look.

I bet that skirt would look fabulous on an alien!

A giant squid pillow! Ooh, bet that will be amazing.

I'm sure that your skirt, when you make it, will look tons better than the TS3 version. (I'm smiling at thinking of you aping the Sim version.)

I'll have to dress one of the aliens in the bike skirt. :)

I just ran across this, and thought you might be interested in it for more patterns: http://backgrounds.mysitemyway.com/

I just imagined the knitted one as a pattern for stoves and refrigerators, and made myself laugh :D

There are some really interesting/pretty patterns there. I've been dreaming about pattern making. It would be great to dream about a knitted fridge tonight, lol, I can so see how you made yourself laugh.

Have you heard about Extreme Knitting? Not sure I've seen a fridge yet. :D
