I really enjoy playing Spore. My laptop is not so keen, especially after I installed Galactic Adventures. Had to give up playing because of crashes. Then, a couple of months ago, I accidentally hit the original Spore icon on my Quick Launch bar (yep, not so good on the housekeeping on the laptop, lol) and the game loaded and played without crashes

Will you mind if I pick your brain a little when I get the game? I will have tons of questions, I'm sure. Actually I have one or two already, but I'll sit on them for now...
I'm inspired to add extra heads now, and also to try making front legs bigger. They really are cute like that. So far I've tended to go the other direction, back legs bigger (like my Bandiscouts) and that is cute too. Maybe I should leave your personal style signature to you. Oh, now I feel self-conscious... damn, lol.
I need a Spore icon. See, babbling is catching.

Don't feel self-concious, you do what you like and experiment. It's fun trying things out.
There were some brilliant creators. Next time I'm in game I'll get some names for you to look at. You don't have to ask permission to 'buddy' someone. Unfortunately, most of the ones I really liked have stopped playing now.
Spore icon is good idea, I want one too now :)

It is great that you are enjoying creating all of these creatures, several of them were really cute, and a couple actually kind of looked scary like i would scream if I saw something like that in real life. :-)

Actually playing the game the cute ones remain really cute. The ones I didn't like were the spiders created by other players. Some of them were nightmare inducing. *Shudders*

The trick will be on whether or not I give myself time to actually play it. I'm pretty immersed into CoH and Sims 3, so we'll see! But I did get a nice price for it. :D

When you do try it out, I'd love to see what you come up with.

I think the reason Sims persists and probably Spore in the same manner is you're not entirely PUNISHED in the games. It's heavily skewed to being rewarded for doing things versus punishment for failing. I like games like this! :D
I just need to sort out whether I want to play Spore or Sims and right now I have a goal... that's get darkside Taliesen (I have too many versions of him, it's confusing, I know...I'll summarize this mess sooner or later.) and Nathan back together!
