Best Leading Male Performance - Jamie Foxx, "Ray" (This one was the hardest category for me. I wanted to vote for Depp, he was great. But Foxx became Ray. Though, once Oscar season rolls around, I do believe I agree with you in that it should go to Depp because it's about time he gets his and hopefully Foxx can have another great to take him to the 2006 gold). Best Leading Female Performance - Kate Winslet, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" The only other movie I've seen of that last is KBV2 and I made a promise to myself (silly promises) that I wouldn't vote for any movie in any category if I hadn't seen it. But Winslet I think did a terrific job in this film so I don't have any problems voting for her. Best Newcomer - Zach Braff "Garden State" The only other one I saw was "The Village." Not sure why I went with Braff over her, but I just liked this movie better. He may have played himself, but he played himself pretty well. Best Costume - Reese for "Vanity Fair." I almost broke my promise to myself to go with Hellboy for this
