a few weeks back, during finals, when i didn't have to work at the sundial, it was raining, like now. not a lot, but enough to make me a wee bit happy. i was running though our building to get to my crappy car, which i have to park outside because of a stupid policy forbidding use of the guest parking unless you pay an outrageous fee (i agree with

hell, because it was rainy and the carpets at the library were lame, some idiot put a paper towel and chair in the doorway between the staff office and the staff kitchen. the set-up has to be seen to be believed. suffice it to say, stepping in from the outside world to the kitchen requires at least one foot on the carpet before hitting the tiles. BADBADBAD. i feared for my cranium many times yesterday. :(
