I need help. I want to load my own picture for my LJ instead of Big-Boobs Simpson, but it says that it has to be 100x100 pixels. That's like a different language to me!
Okay. Copy the picture and open up Paint. Paste the picture in paint. Then go to the toolbar and click on Image. When in that menu click on Strech/skew. Make the picture much smaller by changing the %. Then go to the toolbar again and click on Attributes. Make sure the bubble for pixels is (bubbled?) Then change the width and height so they both say 100. thats the pixel things, i guess.
So, that is probably not the easiest way, but it's the way i do it and the only way i know.
ok, here's the problem... I did what you told me to do in paint, but when I tried to load in onto livejournal, it told me that it does not accept .bmp files. now what?

open the picture again in paint.
save it again, this time as a JPEG.
you will this this "SAVE AS TYPE" click the arrow to open up a window and scroll down until you find JPEG(*JPG,*JPEG,*JPE*JFIF)
okay. that should be it. i hope....
