For those who know their bible/christians, can you answer this question for me?

If Jesus turns water into wine,
and that wine is supposed to represent eht blood of Jesus,
and if alcohol is poisonous to our bodies,
then wouldnt that make the blood of Jesus poisonous to us?

Just wondering about this last night.

He didn't turn water into wine at the last supper.
When they had wine at the last supper, he wasn't saying the wine is actually his blood and that the bread was his body. He was just saying that when you eat, you should give thanks to God for your food.
And wine in small amounts isn't bad for you. He wasn't telling everyone to drink all the time. They just drank the wine with dinner.

As i've been told...
Jesus didn't say there's anything wrong with drinking, there's something wrong with getting drunk.

mind you...if you're under 21, then it's against the law. and if you're breaking the law, then God doesn't like that.

uh...not sure if any of that helps or even answers what you were talking about in the first place. Austin seemed to have it covered anyway :-)
