My sister's friend recommended us to someone working in Japan. It was kind of expensive though, maybe more than around $200? Including shipment of the card once it arrives.

Omg..congrats but im so envy of u..coz i want to reg as official fan club member but sadly the main issue is need to have official address in japan to do so😣😭

So u r paying that person to apply the membership4u? USD 200?

Yup. And everytime a newsletter was delivered I have to pay for the warehouse holding my letters for maybe like 5000 yen plus shipping because she did not use her own address in Japan. Now I am waiting for another friend who will work in Japan next year, so I can change the address to hers so I don't have to pay 5000 yen everytime a newsletter comes. My advise would be to find someone who can apply for you for a lesser amount.
I would recommend the one who applied for me but she never replied to me again once I had my card, so I'm kind of bummed about not getting the incoming quarterly newsletters.
Here is the actual fees for the fc membership application: 1000 yen application fee + 4000 yen annual membership fee. There is also a postal fee of 150-200 yen, i think. Actually what I paid is too much, but I wanted to join the balloting for the arena tour so I went for it.

Gail dear..

When u mentioned about warehouse address..is it something like tenso services?coz i usually use tenso pay some amount of money..verify my identity and address then tenso gave me an address in japan..but it cant use for reg any fan club..mostly it used for purchasing other stuff from japan or abroad which the seller x ship outside japan.

Abt the official fan club fees i was told it was a bit expensive since its official. My japanese is still so basic i cant read japanese n cant write well yet so for me to get the newsletter mostly just enjoying the pics on it..lol. but to get private vid msg on your bday from💙❤💚💛💜kindda cool and the chance to buy concert ticket just awesome.

Sorry I'm not sure about the tenso service, but I will try to contact the one who registered me but I am not sure if she will reply. My last message to her was last July and she never replied back. I just hope she does this time.

Yeah the birthday video message from the guys was amazing and funny. I downloaded it from the FC website so I can rewatch it again, but it is in Japanese. I'm just started self-learning japanese this year and there are some few words that I can understand. Also about the balloting of tickets, you should have like a paid e-mail address because they will do not accept free emails like gmail, yahoo mail, etc. I'm using the business email from work. The forms and the result will be sent there. A member can receive 3-4 newsletter and a new year's post card a year.

The total fan club fees are only 5000 yen, then 4000 for renewal yearly. But not included the external fees for the post office and the paid email. Also, i remembered you need a japanese phone number and credit card too.
