Chapter 1: The Tragedy
"Mou!" the girl with a long brown curly hair said. "This is hard, I can't do this anymore." She close her books and hid her face on it, tears on her eyes.
"Well Ryosuke," she felt a warm hand on his head, she look up only to see his best friend, Ryuu, standing next to her. "This isn't the time for you to give up, we still have two weeks before we take the test. Come on I'll help you up." He said smiling sweetly to her
"Really?" Ryosuke asked, her eyes twinkling in happiness
"Really" he answered, sitting next to her. He then took her notes and asked. "So tell me which part you need my help?"
Ryosuke, who's getting teary once again had hugged RYuu in the process. "Arigatou, Ryuu! you really are my savior!"
Ryuu, who was shock with her sudden action, had hugged her in return. "Mou, it's nothing you know" He said letting her go, he then looked at her warmly, ruffling her hair in the process. "You're my best friend after all, so don't fret over small things. and I don't want you to fail the exam, it's our final year after all, I know you don't like to be left behind by this handsome guy." he said smiling smugly.
Ryosuke could only roll her eyes "You know Ryuu, your almost perfect you know, intelligent, sports-oriented and handsome. But you're too full of yourself! that's bad you know, can't you even wait that somebody else praise you." she said pinching his cheeks till it is the color of strawberry, making the guy to stand up and stay out of her reach.
"mou it hurts you know" he said rubbing his red cheeks. "And what's the use of asking for someone to say those words, if I already know how handsome am I." He answered, making Ryosuke to roll her eyes once again.
"Can we start with the lesson, this argument will never end anyway." And the guy returned to his seat.

Ryosuke was on the grocery with her mom, buying stuff for their dinner, as well as looking for baking ingredients. She wants to make a Thank you sweets for RYuu, since he had helped her to study.
Hmm... I wonder what will Ryuu like, strawberry shortcake or eclair?
She was busy looking around that she didn't notice the wet floor. Stepping on the slippery area she lost her balance.
She shriek! not caring on what the people around her will say.
Of all the times I have to slip, why now!
She close her eyes, waiting for her body to slam on the floor. But she never didn't fell, instead she felt two strong arms around her, and a body protecting her from the hard pavement.
"Ugh!" her saviour said, she then open her eyes, trying to see her saviour appearance. Only to see that her face really close to her saviour's face. Ryosuke freezes on her position.
He's handsome
That was the first thing he can think after seeing his face. She's still in daze, looking at him as if she was in trance. When the guy, who still hurting because of the impact, spoke.
"Are you alright, miss?" He asked her, trying to endure the pain he's feeling.
Seeing his pained expression, Ryosuke hurriedly entangles herself from the guy and stood up.
"Gomenasai" she told her, not expecting that she will lost her balance once again, this time the hard pavement had got her, twisting her right foot on the process.
"Itai!" she said, The guy, who had stood up a few seconds before she tripped had sat next to her once again,
"Are you okay?" he asked, Helping her to stand up, but instead the girl shriek in pain once again, when she try to put some weight on her right foot.
"You sprained your foot " he told her, "Here let me help you." the guy said, he then carries the girl out of the place. Bringing her at the benches outside the grocery,and treating her sprained foot.
"Ne, are you with someone here or alone? because if your alone, I'll bring you home." he asked the her.
"I'm with my mom, she's inside." she told him, crying silently because of the pain.
Just then, her mom come out of the store. She was looking inside for her daughter when she notice she wasn't there, she then walks out of the store to check her only to see her daughter with a stranger, crying.
"Oh my Ryosuke! what happened to you?" she asked worriedly, running to where they are.
The guy stood up, he bows toward the older women "She sprained her right foot madame." he said, while the women was checking on her daughter
"She was looking around, not noticing that the floor she's walking is wet, so she slip and lost her balance, twisting her foot in the process. BUt no worries madame, I've applied first aid on her injury." he told her.
The women looked at him "Anou, is it okay, if you'll help me to bring her on our car, I think it would be better if I'll bring her home." She asked
"Of course madame, here let me carry her towards your car." He answered, he then walks toward Ryosuke and carried her in a bridal style, she then turned to the older woman.
"If you may lead us towards your car madame." He said, they walked towards the car, Ryosuke who was silent all those time could only look down, hiding her red face from them. After a while, they reached the car, her mom opens the car door, and the guy had helped her to sat down.
After a while, he stood up. "Here madame, I suggest that you put compressed on his sprain, so that it wouldn't get worse.If you may madame, I have to go"
"Uhn, Thank you very much sir" Her mother told him, the guy only smile and was about to leave, when....
"Anou" Ryosuke said looking at the guy, the guy stopped while her mother walk towards her. "Is there something wrong, dear."
But Ryosuke didn't utter a word, he was peeking few glances towards the guy and trying utter some words but they can't hear her. He then averts her gaze from the guy, shyly.
The guy could only smile at her actions, he then walks towards her sitting right in front of her, making Ryosuke look at him.
"It;s nothing you know" he told her,
" I hope you recover soon." he said smiling sweetly at her, Ryosuke blushes, she bow down once again averting her gaze.
The guy then stood up, "I have to go madame." the guy then left, Ryosuke was looking at him once again, looking at him until he can't see him once again.
The guy he's handsome and nice. too bad he never said his name, I hope I could thanked him personally soon.

Ryosuke was in the library, trying to do her homework. It was due the next day, but she can't focus on her task since her mind was flying somewhere else. It had been a month since her accident. A month since she recover from the injury. A month since he last saw him.
Ever since the grocery incident, Ryosuke's mind was occupied by his saviour, his knight.
"YAMADA RYOSUKE!" Ryutaro yelled. Ryosuke was lost from her trance, she look up to her best friend in shock.
"What is it Ryuu? you don't need to shout you know. Do you want to be thrown out by the librarian?" she told him, seeing that she wasn't the only one who was startled by his friends action.
"Well, I wouldn' t shout if you will be on your proper mind" he told her angrily, Ryuu was worried for her friend. It had been a month since her friend will easily be distract, as if she was on another dimension, unreachble to the people around her. And his not the only one concerned, her own parents had been worried with her blank expression.
Ryuu had turned to her once again, "What's wrong anyway, since last month you're acting strange."
"Well it's nothing really." she told him averting his concerned gaze.
Ryuu could only snort. "Oh come on Ryo, we've known each other since Grade school and this face." he said pinching her chubby cheeks, while Ryosuke tries to pry his hand from her face. " says that you're bothered by something"
he finished, letting her face go, while Ryosuke could only glare at her deadly while rubbing her red cheeks.
Ryuu could only sigh, "You know Ryosuke, you could tell me if you have a problem. I might be able to help you." he told her.
Ryosuke was about to say something, when someone had interrupted theire conversation. "So I am right, the loud voice that I heard is you Ryuu." someone with a slightly familiar voice said.
The two look at the source, only to see a lanky guy with black hair, and a charming smile.
Ryuu looks at the guy, and realizing who he was he greet him. "hey man! what's up"
He said, walking towards him. The two guy was talking animatedly, while Ryosuke's looking at the other guy, thinking that he was familiar.
Suddenly, she remembers where he saw the guy, Ryosuke eye's widens , he.. he...
Ryuu, who remembered he was with his bestfriend, turned to her
"Oh yeah Ryosuke, I would like you to meet my classmate, our batch Top student, and my close friend, Nakajima Yuto."
The guy turned to her, smiling widely, he then bows to her like how he had bow to her the first time they had met. "Nakajima Yuto desu, nice meeting you."
