Chapter 1
Chapter 2: Spending Time Together
She was sitting on the library, doing her homeworks that was due that week. But whatever focus she does to finish her homeworks, her minds keeps flying somewhere else, or rather towards a certain guy, who have been occupying her mind and her heart for a while now, Nakajima Yuto.
She couldn’t believe it when her best friend, introduced Nakajima Yuto to her. Even if she hopes for it, she never thought she would meet the guy who had helped her before. But it seems like fate has other plans for them. She never thought that he’s a High school student and above all her very own school mate. She should have attended those assemblies on their school, She wouldn’t have suffered sleepless night thinking about him.
Ryosuke then slap her face a few times, she then shakes his head as if trying to forget and don’t think of him.
What Am I doing? I should be worrying about my grades instead of thinking about him.
She could only sigh and returns on doing her homework. She was trying so hard not to think about him, but everywhere she goes, she will meet or see Yuto that ends up with them spending time together. These unexpected meet-ups had lead into a deeper friendship that even Ryosuke never thought will happen to them.
For her, Yuto is a kind friend. He never let her feel uncomfortable around him, entertaining and helping her in anything he could. He also have a good sense of humor, funny but not offending. He was smart as well as talented, and above all he’s not just a good looking guy but someone with a heart of gold.
Ryosuke knows the more she get acquainted with him is the more she fell for him.

A sudden tap at her shoulder had awakened her from her reverie. She turned to that person only to see Yuto standing next to her.
“Gomen, I’m late.” He told her smiling sweetly; he then sits next to her getting his books and notes from his bag and spreading it on the table. He then turns to her “Did you wait that long?”
Ryosuke, who’s smile never left her face, just shook her head.
“Not really, I was doing my homework while waiting for you.” She told him, returning to her notes.
Yuto who’s still looking at her said. “Really, let me see it so that I could just copy your homework.”
He then snatch the notebook from her, earning a “Hey” and a glare from the girl, Yuto just stuck her tongue out at her and looks at her notes. Somehow, there unexpected meet ups had become a planned one. Every week, they will go somewhere just to spend time together, and at times, he will help her on they’re lessons.
Yuto was still looking at her notebook, He was quite pensive for a while as if assessing if her answers are wrong.
“Ne, didn’t you say that you’re doing your assignment earlier?” he asked
“Uhn, why?”
“If your doing your homework, how come is this blank?” he asked her, showing the empty page she had been staring at the whole time. Ryosuke blushes somehow embarrassed with what he said.
“Shut up”she retort back. “I’m still trying to think what will be a good topic on our essay homework, because I’m not like someone here who aces every exam he took.” She said defending herself, How do you think I could concentrate on my homework if you’ll always occupy my mind.
Yuto was still pensive, still not believing her explanation, he then took the book she was holding and looks at it. He frowned in confusion.
“What’s wrong?” she asked
Yuto looks at her, “Well,”he said cutting his sentence
‘What?”
“If I remember correctly, our Essay Homework is on English, bot in Mathematics.”He said showing the book to her, which turned out is her Math book, she blushes once again, and this time her face had turned as red as her favourite fruit. Yuto who was still looking at her, had to stifle his voice not to laugh loud. He enjoys watching her expressions.
“Well, Our Math teacher had given me an extra homework, an essay type, for failing his last quiz.”He said embarrassedly, averting her eyes in fear of him finding that she was lying.
But still Yuto was looking at her amusingly. “Really? Are you sure?”he asked, still teasing her.
Ryosuke could only sigh, “Can’t we just start our homework please, I need lots of time to understand this lesson.”
Yuto who still want to tease her, gave up. He turns to his notes and asked her.
“So tell me, in which part of our lessons did you find really hard?”
Ryosuke could only sigh, she was happy that he didn’t continue on his teasing. God knows, she might let something slip up that might make there friedship lost or destroyed and it is something he doesn’t want to feel.

“Ok class times up, past your papers in front.”
Ryosuke smiles, she then past her papers to the person in front of her and put her things back to her bag. It was the last day of their midterms, and somehow it is the first time she was smiling after a major exam.
The bell rang, indicating the end of another school. After the teacher left, Ryosuke hurriedly went out of her room. Skipping happily towards a certain place, where they had agreed to meet up after class. As she was nearing the said place, she could see someone standing back facing her. She could only smile, she called him happily.
“Yuto!”the guy turned smiling happily at her, she runs towards him only to realize the he wasn’t the only one waiting for her.
“Yo!”the other guy said
“Eh! Ryutaro, what are you doing here?”she asked, which make Ryutaro’s expression unhappy.
“Hearing your response makes me think that I’m not welcome here.” he told her “Am I not welcome?”
Ryosuke shakes his head “No! it’s not that”she answered. “I’m just surprise that you will be coming with us.”She said.
“Well Yuto invited me, saying that I could tag along with your date.”he said, making the two blush.
Ït’s not a date, you know.”Ryosuke said, defending herself
“Yeah, it’s not a date.”Yuto seconded. “I promise her that I will treat her on her favourite restaurant after the exam, you know after all the hard work we’ve gone through to study for this exam I think a little reward will be great.” He said.
They started walking towards a certain café Ryosuke and Yuto frequents, it had become their study place as well. Meeting a lot of new friends and spending more time together.
As they arrive, a pretty lady greeted them, smiling at her, they seated on their usual place, making themselves at home.
“Hello, Kei san” she greeted the lady
The lady smile at them ‘Hello to you too, I’m glad you visited as today, we’ve missed your presence here, especially my husband. He’s always waiting for the cute couple to arrive.” She told them teasing Yuto and Ryosuke,
The two blushes making the lady and Ryutaro laugh at them. It is true that two had been close to the couple who owned the place but because they will be seen together Kei’s husband had labelled them a couple embarrassing them just to see they’re cute reaction.
“Mou Kei san, were not dating.”Ryosuke said. “Were just good friends, you know.”
“Okay, okay if you say so.”the Lady smiled at them. He then turnstoward Ryuutaro “I see you brought a friend.”
“Hai! Morimoto Ryuutaro desu, nice meeting you maam”he said introducing himself
The Lady smiled at her “Ï’m Kei by the way, owner of this shop. I hope you’ll enjoy are sweets in here thy’re delicious.” she told him, handing each of them the menu
“Just call me, once you’re ready to order.” She them leaves they’re table to tend on the other customers.
“I’m glad you were here Ryutaro.” Ryosuke turns to his best friend, smiling at him.
Ryutaro could only snort. “Well, I’m glad you’re happy to see me.”she told her jokingly, earning a pout from the girl.
“How can you say that?”she asked him.
Ryutaro smirked. “Well, since you’ve been ignoring me this past few weeks, it makes me think that you don’t want to see me.” he told her. ‘I’m somehow hurt you know, my very own best friend had never spend her precious time with me, because she’s spending her whole time with somebody else.” He told her still joking, faking a hurt expression.
“Mou Ryu.” The girl somehow felt guilty, she approach her best friend, hugging her in comfort. “It’s not the case, I’m just busy because of the Exams and Yuto had promise me that he will help me studying. I’m sorry, I never meant to make you feel that way.”
Silence had engulfed them for a while, taking her in confusion. Something was not right.
Just then the two guy had laugh loudly, taking her by surprise.
“hahahaha” they both laugh
“Why? What’s funny?’ she asked them
Ryutaro who was trying to stop himself from laughing had said. “Well, I told Yuto here that you’re softhearted person, that you will easily gave in on other people’s pitiful expression.”he told her still laughing slightly. “And seriously, how can you still fall on my trap, Ryosuke. We’ve been best friend for years and you still don’t when I’m joking or not?” Ryutaro said still laughing.
Ryosuke didn’t know what to say, ashamed that he had fallen to her bestfriend trap.
“Mou”she said hiding her face with her hands. She felt someone taking her hands off her face, she look up only to see Yuto who was looking at her amusedly, but not laughing anymore.
“Well, there’s nothing wrong with worrying about your best friend, but I think you should know your best friend than anybody else Ryosuke.” Yuto started laughing again. “But to tell you frankly, your expressions are really cute a while ago, man I should have recorded it.” he said making Ryutaro laugh.
“Hmm If you wouldn’t stop, I’m out of here.” She said threathening the two, but when the two isn’t showing any sign of ceasing from their joke, she stood up pissed ready to leave the two.
“Wait RYosuke, don’t go yet.”She heard Yuto yelled, but she didn’t stop , Instead she walks faster towards the door.
She was walking fast that she didn’t have time to stop when someone enters the place looking at her back, Ryosuke bumps into her.
“Öuch!” they both said.
“Ryosuke!”he heard Yuto run towards her, helping him to stand up and checking if she was hurt anywhere. Áre you alright?”he asked her, worry can be seen on his eyes.
“Uhn”she said, somehow blushing because of Yuto’s action to her.
After making sure that Ryosuke is fine, Yuto talked to the person Ryosuke had bumped.
“I’m sorry about what happen, Ryosuke didn’t mean to-“ He turned to the person, only to stop talking
“Ehh!” he said, somehow surprised. Ryosuke look at the person as well, only to see a cute girl, with cute face, long black hair and height almost the same as her. The girl was looking at them with shock face, as if she can’t believe what she’s seing
“Yuri!” Yuto exclaimed.
The girl smiled “Yutti!!!”she yelled, jumping to Yuto kissing him on the check and ivinge him a bear crushing hug,
“Oh my God is that really you, I can’t believe this!”she said still hugging the guy.
Yuto who just recover from shock was smiling sweetly at the girl, he then returns the hug she’s giving.
“It’s been a while ne Yutti, I really miss you.”
And Ryosuke could only look at them shock, she can’t believe what she was seeing.
