Cleaning and rearranging the kitchen. Ugh. Had to throw out all the starches except some unopened bags of pasta... #@&^% meal moths get into everything! Hoping the old-fashioned screw-top jars I just bought keep them out better than the two kinds of supposedly "airtight" canisters that have failed so far.

Set up a breakfast station with the tea rack and electric kettle, bread box, and fruit bowl... realized I don't actually use the toaster that often, so it can probably migrate to the far corner with the other gadgets that used to live on top of the fridge. The counter next to the pantry cupboard is now officially reserved for prep work and baking, and cleared off except for the flour and sugar jars.

Found a lovely wire wine rack on sale, and it's the perfect size to perch on that random countertop between the dining and living rooms. I need to stop at Lowe's and grab some under-cabinet stemware hangers to mount above it. If I'm lucky, they'll have them in bronze. That'll solve the problem of what to do with that particular awkward architectural detail.

Still looking for the perfect chaise or squashy reading chair for the living room, and have found the perfect sofa but not the $$ to buy it. :P For now, the Horrible Ottoman is filling that spot. It looks much more presentable covered with an attractive tablecloth! Wish I knew how much longer I'll be living in the area... I'd feel a lot better about dropping lots of cash on bulky, difficult-to-move furnishings.

My room is pretty well set, but I think it needs this print to be complete. :)
