Thanks so much for letting us know.

I've been enjoying reading many authors' works at AO3, even though there's a waiting list of about 3000 people so I can't join! :(

So . . . many thanks also for the tip about commenting - I've always felt bad about not being able to leave comments there when people don't post at LJ at the same time, but now I know that I can - that's most useful!

Also great to know you'll still post a link at LJ - that way, I'll be less likely to miss things!! :)

I want to strike a balance, letting my LJ friends and readers keep up with my postings, but I am burned out a but on the actual LJ experience as a writer. I've written a lot of fic and I figure I'm pretty qualified to judge if something works or doesn't. If I were a blogger it would be different, probably. I adore the blogging format and the communities of LJ but for me, this will work best. I'll also keep posting in sherlockbbc as I always have.

So, welcome to AO3 and I did see that you kindly left some comment over there, many thanks for that! It's too bad about the wait list. They will have to get out of beta soon, I would hope.
