Doctor Who cardigan photos
I’m finally posting pictures of one of my hand-knit Doctor Who cardigans, made last year, along with some notes.
This one is double-knit (two layers) and fully reversible. I made it top down, flat. There is no pattern. I cobbled together various free designs from Ravelry, with some modifications. The designs are question mark, TARDIS, Dalek, sonic screwdriver, Torchwood logo.
Double knitting was probably the best way of getting the designs I wanted. It is also really slow, basically like constant 1x1 ribbing. I figured if it would take ages to make anyway, I’d design it to be reversible. And since it’s a cardigan (open front), I can wear Doctor Who shirts under it, and they’re still somewhat visible.

I’ve made more DW cardigans with other designs and will post them eventually, especially if anyone is interested in seeing them.
