Music Non-Stop or just dead stop?

I had quite forgotten the joy of waiting eagerly for a new album to come out. This I also rediscovered with the new Rotersand album. That anticipation of what is in store for you, have they continued to improve on their last album? Will it be as good? Are they going to disappoint you with a change in direction that you don't like ( Read more... )

Resurrection Records

I'm not sure which is worse though. The anticipation, or getting it and being disappointed.

RR: I know that I should have. I intend to find out if they promise to deliver on the day of release.

It is kind of nice having that will it or won't it mix of emotions :)

How are you? Hope all is well! You going to Infest this year?

Spooky and weird, I was going to ask you the same question. I am going, my ticket arrived a couple of weeks ago (from MNS, LOL), my hotel is booked and I have the day off of work. All I have to do is haul myself and several litres of vodka up to sunny Bradford. :)

I haven't bought any new music in ages, until a few weeks ago when I bought the new Grendel and the new A23. Thoroughly disappointed in both tbh. They *may* be growers, but I haven't been arsed to listen to them again. :(
I didn't even know there was a new Rotersand out, is it worth getting?

I should be doing my homework for InFest, but the line-ups pretty bad, I'm not sure I can be arsed. I suspect I'll spend most of my time in the bar. It could go spectacularly wrong. :D

Have not booked accommodation yet as I have my MOT coming up and don't want to take any chances with that :(

The new Grendel is great, I was given it as a birthday present, the day after it was released :D I saw them in Edinburgh the same day when they performed at dark city *bounces*

The new Rotersand is a mixed bag with some really good tracks and others that I think are going to be growers. I think that if they do another 'excursions' album it will be awesome! I really got into Implant as well after seeing them at Dark City. That was a brilliant weekend and the lineup was amazing.

I know what you mean about doing homework for Infest, I have not started either :(

I know how you feel regarding pirated music. I advanced ordered both NiN - Year Zero and Marilyn Manson - Eat Me, Drink Me. However, I managed to get a pirated rip (extremely good quality) of both albums over a month before they were actually ripped. :o/

Wha's even worse is that the Rotersand rip is from a post-release album and not a promo copy :( The embargo actually worked for the Rotersand album as it wasn't available anywhere.

I received an email apology this morning from MNS. It appears that the fault is not theirs, but further up the distribution chain, the UK distributor has not received any copies of the album in the first place from the record label :(
