Whether or not they're corrupt, by putting themselves beyond the reach of the law they're behaving like criminals. It's our money; if it embarrasses them for us to find out how they spend it, that's rather telling. Since they won't give specific information to refute my suspicions, I now feel justified in assuming that every MP is a profligate wastrel, spending thousands on yeti-hair cushions and gold-plated window cleaners.
Being prepared for a raping? No, I think they're just slipping it in nice and slow, with lots of spin, er, lube. One day we'll wake up and realise we're not alone in our beds. And that we have no virginal orifices left.
