Please drop me a comment now, including the following things:

header/background image - yes/no? if yes, link, please :)
tell me what colors you want - if possible, add a palette or a hex code.
sidebar, topbar or no 'bar'? in case of side/topbar, what do you want to be displayed?
what font should i use?

Oh my freaking God! I cannot believe it! How happy am I?! Such a boring (mixed with crappy) week and then I find this wonderful news. :) :) :) Thank you so much.

Right, my journal is a fic one so a sidebar that enables tags and links would be really good so that all the fic titles are listed. And sidebar headers for these.

A top bar as well for navigation.

I'm going to have to have a proper scout around for a nice background to go with my duck egg bluey ness and then get back to you with colours except I know I like #99cccc.

Decisions, decisions, but lovely decisions. I'll let you know all the stuff you need to know as soon as I can.

I can't tell you how happy you've made me 'ghosty' ~ fellow Arcade Fire lover.

duck egg blue is definitely a win. :) i'll try to make your layout asap, coz soon i'll be away on a holiday. :)

Well I think I would definitely like #99cccc for links and on a color pallette thingy it suggested this dusky pink as one that goes with it #cc9999 which I think would look nice as a link hover colour. And if you need another colour then #71b7b7, and of course white - some shade of. I like font: Georgia ( ... )

tiling is no problem really, i can most likely make at least some of these nicely tiled (i've posted some background on here too before which i've tiled from screencaps of wallpapers).
#99cccc is definitely a big big yes - that's the link color i used on this layout too ... :)
also, i could try to work out the header img you linked, similarly to this layout :)

Uh, let's see. I don't actually know that much about layouts and I'm pretty easy to please, so I'll just give you a lot of free reign? Just do something you think would look cute, because I like your style a lot. :)

I have no particular image in mind for a header/background, though I really like the background you have in your "Paint the black hole blacker" (actually what I'm currently using for yarndi) layout. Something similar to that--smoky/wispy spirals/clouds or something--would be awesome. Same colors, too, black and slate gray/light gray. I actually really like that layout in general, so if you want to do something based on it that'd be fine. I do like a topbar, where I can display my default icon, a song lyric, and maybe some links. A calendar and/or tags on the side would be nice too, but not necessary if that makes the layout too cluttered or difficult. For font, I suppose I like fonts along the arial/sans-serif range. The other colors I'd like you to use would be like a light lavender and light green, any ( ... )
