This is really incredibly done. I would love, love, love to see more of this AU, and find out what Yukimura is up to and why.

This is way cool. And the bits of the whole universe showing around the edges are both very evocative and really make me want more.

The setting is adapted from Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan. I thought it was a really fascinating one and I wanted to play in it, though my adaptation is a bit loose. And... I really hope there will be more.

*concurs with [amsterdam]* This is fantastic, and very vivid; the SF setting is well-realised in the details, and even the minor Rikkai characters are beautifully written in. There's so much narrative strength in this.

XD Definitely my favourite fic of this round so far, although I'm totally biased in terms of subject matter and character choice and...other reasons.
