I really liked this! It was an unusual take on an unusual duo (although I'd love to read more about those two). It was well-written.

This is actually a very plausible and interesting take on Ryoma's attitude. I enjoyed it very much, especially as someone who is a bit enculturated into Japan but living in America... the differences in certain behaviors are so dramatic, yet sometimes we only realize them in the oddest of ways. ^___^ Great work.

This is so unexpected--I don't think I've ever come across the idea before. But now that I think about it, why hasn't there been fifty million fics about Ryoma and his previous home? I mean, he did live there for twelve years right? Also, using Kaidoh instead of the regular characters that might help Ryoma through his crises, was perfect. Thanks for the great fic. Keep writing!
