Since an icon-post might take me some time -again- I figured I'd just share something else. So, after I watched Supernatural's episode 16 Dark Side of the Moon I just HAD to make a wallpaper ^^ This is basically... something like reality vs. paradise - idk if it shows, but that's what the concept was ( Read more... )

So, sadly I haven't seen the episode of SPN you were inspired with, I'm pretty sure it would have been even more impressive then but wow, this wallpaper is seriously gorgeous, I love the complexity and the composition of the images! I love how you divided the two "worlds" with the yellow and red lines inbetween and the contrast between the color explosion and the grungy black/white. I love emotive wallpapers that transport a message and this one is a great example of that :).

Also, you don't have to suck up to me, I already like you ;P. I think no one has paid me a compliment to my re-sizing before, though, that's a new one, haha. You can also just start at a 1920x1200 because it's easier to resize to 1680, 1440 and 1280x800. I love the fact that they're all different, though, this way you always have an individual wallpaper for your desktop size :D.

Of course post your layouts here, you know I'm only here for the stalking anyway ;D.

ALSO; that is not sucking up - it's merely the truth. I kept looking at your Fringe wallpaper and the way you got all the sizes to look the same and was getting really frustrated with myself :(
So, yeah, I'm gonna try that size, because like I said I started with 1920x1080 and only after I was done saw that there was an even bigger size!! ugh. But yes, I had more problems with the top and bottom and fitting it all in than anything else... so... yeah. FAIL.
haha, well that's one way to look at it! then yes! master pieces each on their own ;P

I MADE THE STALKER OPTION ONLY FOR YOU! and now am slightly shocked more people stalk me 0_o, cause you know it ain't love what made them click ^^

So I am still behind on SPN, but WOW to this wallpaper. So absolutely amazing. I'm also amazed that you have my resolution there, because it's the weirdest resolution appearantely. But yes, that makes me love you even more ;) And I just love what you did with this wallpaper. The entire feel to the wallpaper is amazing, you so get it across. I love the placement in it and I love the use of the pictures in it, the way you use the textures and brushes. Just so incredibly good. I love the grungy brushes to the right and how they really add to the feel and how the lighting on the other side really gives it a different kind of feel. I can definitely sense that there's a difference between both sides and yet at the same time the wallpaper seems like one complete piece. I love it, so beautiful ( ... )

Haha, yeah. I actually checked back what resolution you had in your Journal because I remembered it was one of the HUGE ones and figured I should start there :)
Thanks so much, hon. I'm glad that the different themes are visible even if you haven't seen the episode (which you should watch, because it's one of my favorites now!! amazing!)
