I hate to talk about this now, but I need to. David is my brother, and when Thomas goes, Mary will go too. David...he's not so great. And when Thomas isn't here, Peter will be worse. I can't take care of both of them, as much as I want to. When Mary leaves, can we bring William back? Not for me. For my brother.

He'll need it.

I wish you couldn't, Aly. I hate that you had to suffer this too. I think we're in a very unique position to understand each other though, even to the point where we both get to see our husbands again, from time to time.

I don't think it's going to hit me again, really hit me, until he's gone. At the moment, I can still talk to him. It's not the same, but it's something. Soon, I'll have to travel to the Beyond to reach him. He'll be that much further away. But again, it's still something. As for support, I don't doubt for a moment I'll have it. A lot of our friends have a lot on their plates at the moment, but I'm sure there will be time for all of us to be looked after, too.

I'm alright. I feel as if I have lost a brother in the same breath as losing my best friend. But I still have my David and my Peter. And you of course. I'll survive.

I don't doubt that. You've been through so much, I find it hard to imagine anything you couldn't survive. I want so much better for you than that, though. Anything I can do to brighten your days, I will.

Yes. Saddened by what has happened to Thomas, but all right. I wanted to see him live a full life. I hate that the opportunity has been taken from him yet again. It's not fair at all.
