Read this, its a bit of a slog, but worth it if this kind of thing worries you at all.

It's the Cairo Declaration, which basically replaces the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in any "Islamic country".

It's a bit kooky, only a bit. When you know that 'Shari’ah' means "Islamic Law" however, it becomes downright sinister.

Compare it with this, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Might I highlight, from the latter;

"Article 18.
• Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance."

And;

"Article 20.

(2) No one may be compelled to belong to an association."

And in light of recent nonsense;

"Article 19.
• Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

At this point an American may cite the Constitution, A Frenchman the French Declaration of the Rights of Man. I am a Shaman, Discordian and madman. Thus;

"1. Man has the right to live by his own law--
to live in the way that he wills to do:
to work as he will:
to play as he will:
to rest as he will:
to die when and how he will.

2. Man has the right to eat what he will:
to drink what he will:
to dwell where he will:
to move as he will on the face of the earth.

3. Man has the right to think what he will:
to speak what he will:
to write what he will:
to draw, paint, carve, etch, mould, build as he will:
to dress as he will.

4. Man has the right to love as he will:
"take your fill and will of love as ye will,
when, where, and with whom ye will."

5. Man has the right to kill those who would thwart these rights.
"the slaves shall serve."

Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. Love is the law, love under will."

And

"To us, a woman is Herself, absolute, original, independent, free, self-justified, exactly as a man is. "

-Aleister Crowley

That is all.
