My moonchkins are done with testing tomorrow. We are celebrating by making trail mix and watching Monster House b/c it's supposed to be a rainy day.

Last week it snowed on sunday, leaving us with a couple inches.

This week we're getting up to near 70 degrees.

In like a lion- got that ferkin' right.

This morning I said: This evening I will go and get my glasses adjusted, have some down time.

The evening I: drove like a bat outta hell to deliver students' posters to a contest (oops didnt see the due date),
shit it's 3:30...posters must be in by 4:30

had a drink with coworkers, ate dinner ala WaWa and saw 300 (beautiful film)

The snow is really starting to fall now. The Weather channel has really timed this storm down to the minute. Go Dopplereffect radar 6 billion!

I predict a delayed opening or school closing. Grrr I left my lesson plan book and manuals at school. grrrrr. I had no idea about this storm until Saturday.

The ever going question when it comes to moving. Kieran and I were good with renting for the first couple of months in Portland because, at least right now, we have no solid job and want to see where it all goes. But it's hard when the really nice places are just about the price of a mortgage payment.

I discovered qoop this weekend. It's flickr's answer to a print service. I made a nice and personalized birthday card for a friend and then tested a print too using my photos. *knock on wood*

I'm going to ask President elBusho for 100 BILLION dollars to fight the war on children's poor sense of Geography. I figure sinse he's asking Congress this much for WARRR, why not give it a shot.
