For the last 2 days I have been getting over some sort of stomach virus. Tuesday night I couldn't eat dinner at all. Yesterday was a lot better but I've still been missing work. I did eat some pizza, soup and granola though. So that was a plus. In my recent sickness I seem to have rediscovered my love for Sunny Delight. What a glorious beverage. It

1. it's funny that we had pretty much opposite impressions of the futurama movie - i thought it started out awesome, and got boring towards the end. but i felt that way about the simpsons movie too, so maybe i just don't have the attention span for tv shows turned into movies.

2. i thought the same thing about mal when i started watching the show. it could be the low-slung pistol at his side, or that he's a scoundrel with a heart of gold, but he's pretty much han.

3. firefly gets better the more you watch it. a critic called it "too smart for tv", which pretty well sums it up. once you've seen it a couple times and know the plots, you can sit back and appreciate the beauty of the show. if there were any justice in the world, the show would have run it's course instead of being cancelled in it's first season.
