Hey, y'all, still around. Just when I think I'm finished with L...writing Near and Mello will be a relief, though that won't be too soon, since I'm heading to Mexico for a similar volunteering holiday to the one in Ghana; only this time my Mother and 13 yr old brother are coming a week later. It won't be somewhere in the most desperate ( Read more... )

I definitely love this very much! The idea of 3 linked drabbles seems nice and interesting, and the ideas presented in these pieces are very characteristic of L and Light. I love the ending too.
For some reason these lines seemed really heartbreaking to me:
It didn’t matter where he died-who was beside him, which sweets he had liked or which sweets he had eaten. He died quietly, drowning in the answer to the case, and the only smile of truth Kira ever gave him.
Awesome story! ^_^

Thank you. I thought these might be a bit too long, but I'm glad I got something right.

Wow. Very inventive, and interesting, with clever insight into L's tastes and his thought processes. The first part is particularly fascinating.

This was really beautiful, in a passive, analytical sense. I can't quite decide if it's terribly tragic or soothing, I suppose it's a bit of both. Some of the lines - such as the first scene - illustrated something depressing in a curious detached manner that suits L. Then in the second scene, L's own issues are developed, but delicately. And finally in the third, some conclusions. My favorite line was, All that mattered was the answer in Light’s face. Nothing of the God escaping the earth; just the boy exalting in victory over the enemy he would keep in his soul while he lived (Misa would accept it, one day. Please).

This was so well written, I'm very impressed and envious of your talent. Excellent work. :-)

Thank you! I´m really happy you liked it, and that that line worked.
