Otherwise I would have had to file a report on this. As it stands, if I turned in any reports during my imposed sabbatical, they would be promptly ignored. Since nothing I file will be looked at , I'm not going to waste my documenting this somewhat strange incident.

Just be careful. Despite your current elevated standing with the GIW, even you will be subjected to inquiry by our agents should an incident like this again occur.
