I have printed out all the articles. I'm going to take them as reading material on my overseas flight.

Thanks!

I have a question...the guy at the camera store recommended I attach a UV filter to my camera. Do you use these?

Yes, I do. Not so much for the UV filtering benefits of a filter, but just to protect the camera lens. The filter helps protect the lens from potential scratches and invasive dust, so it's a good idea to keep one attached to your lens at all times.

Good to know! :o) Thanks, dear! How do I attach it? *feels so completely lame that I can't figure it out*

Heehee. Don't feel lame. It's a perfectly good question.

You screw the lens filter to the end of the lens. Not the part where it attaches to the camera, but the other end. Just twist it on and always leave it on. The lens cap should fit nicely right over the filter. :o)
