Here's that thing I was talking about. What the hell??

"But not all psychologists think that avoiding caffeine is a long-term cure. I spit my water out from laughing. "Drink more coffee, you pussy!" will be my new personal motto.

For me, I found that coffee hasnt affected my panic attacks, what worked for me was cognitive behavioral therapy, telling myself that the panic was unwarranted and I'm flipping out over nothing. That being said, if I'm drinking coffee and I start to feel edgy, it's time to switch to water. But that's just the coffee jitters and not panic.

haha, you know when to say when! I think I've gotten better at separating the two feelings, over the years. I still laugh about taking my klonopin and following it up with a chai latte or green tea, though. =P

I especially like him saying if they don't want to drink coffee after the treatment that they haven't overcome their fear. Maybe they just don't like coffee! What a hack.

My problem with caffeine is that I often don't feel energetic or stimulated I just feel jittery and nervous. So what's the benefit to me?

Obviously, I'm not a scientist or anything, but I'm convinced that coffee can't give a person physical "energy" like food or rest or B vitamins can. It might make you mentally sharper, but personally it usually makes my body feel tired at the expense of my mind. Fuck you, coffee!
