With an iPod alarm clock thing, does it just play a random song or what? A few years ago I was using some Windows program to play specific mp3s to wake me up in the morning, but then I started to associate those songs with having to get out of bed and I started to hate them!

I think it just kicks your ipod on shuffle and plays a random song. I've only used it for the radio alarm, and to listen to the ipod when i'm too lazy to get up and turn on the imac. I got the iHome thingy, and it has a realllllly nice sound. I highly recommend it.
