We begin this update with Citrine aging into her teen years.
Citrine: I can't wait to use that exercise machine and get you all tickets to the gun show! *flexes*
I pick genius for her fourth trait. Now she has all the requirements for being the next generation's heir just like her brother.
After a quick makeover Citrine poses for a photo with a wistful look on her face.
Citrine: Ha, I'm so beautiful I don't even need to work out.
With her sudden realization she finishes her green painting.
After school the next day The Red Rendezvous held a special halloween party for all the teens in Twinbrook.
Despite Celadon's best efforts his best friend and flirt buddy, Charon didn't attend. But his friend Abby Johanson came. They talked awhile but there were no sparks between them. Celadon mostly just stared blankly at spots in the room. Waiting for Charon to get out of work and show up to the party.
Then a girl by the name of Griselda Young walked in. Celadon watched the brown eyed, flowing haired, green hoodie'd girl cross the room as Abby rambled on about school. For some unknown reason Griselda intrigued him. He wanted to know her sign, get to know her, and kiss her - all at once and immediately. But her beauty made him feel shy. So he continued his conversation with Abby while stealing glances at Griselda's back.
Citrine came to the party too but no suitable males were there to talk to. So she talked to the bar tender all night long. They actually got on quite well, despite him looking bored with her ramblings.
Citrine: I want a virgin eyeball martini, thank you. Did you know that I really like your blue eyes?
Bartender Louis: Yeah, okay.
Celadon got rid of Abby by the bar and watched as Griselda read a book. He smiled to himself as she completely ignored his existence.
Citrine: So Louis, you're really cute for an older dude. I'm weird and green. We should you know hang out sometime.
Abby: Hahahahaha, that was the worst pick up line I ever heard.
Citrine: Seriously, what's your problem? Is it because my brother thinks you're boring?
Abby: My problem is that you're boring. And you're green! And no one likes aliens.
Louis: Why did I take this job?
By the end of the night Celadon gets the courage to talk to Griselda for a little bit. She talks to him about school and about her love for the color green. He smiles and in his head he imagines proposing to Griselda right then and there. She reminds him of his mother, only not, and to him that is a good thing.
Despite being tired he and Griselda decide to dance a bit at the dull party.
After getting rid of Abby, Citrine gets closer to the older bartender. A lot closer.
Citrine: I know it is wrong for us to do anything but I just wanted to tell you how cute you are. I know I'm young but one day when I am 18 would you like to perhaps hang out? If you're still single - that is?
Louis: Yes, I would like that. I will make you your first non-virgin eyeball martini. I can't wait. Here is my number.
Citrine left proud of herself she tried to get her brother to come with her because it was almost past curfew but he wasn't ready to leave Griselda yet.
Celadon and Griselda shared a very intimate goodbye hug when it became clear that they would have to leave the party. Celadon went home unsure about where he stood with Griselda and if he should tell Charon, his best friend, about her.
