12/08/2004 - We offered Dellucci arbitration which makes me happy as he is my special Italian-American guy dude. We signed Sandy Alomar Jr. as a back-up back-up catcher for Laird and Barajas. All good.

12/10/2004 - Signed Hidalgo!!! Very exciting for me. I love the guy. I was very disappointed in the Astros for sending him to the Mets to rot

Hey, I deserve a break this offseason after losing Ivan Rodriguez because we couldn't afford him with A-Rod's contract... then losing A-Rod too. :D
