Nomar and steroids? Is it wrong that I started to laugh when I read that? I don't know . . . He does seem to be oft-injured as of recently, but I just can't see it.

And the author sounds a bit like the guy the homecoming queen ditched the night of prom for the star quarterback, and he's still bitter about it.

I of course agree with you 1000 percent on the Oswalt v. Zito issue. I am troubled by how muscular Oswalt has become this season, though. I am sure it is good for his pitching -- right now he looks better than he has since 2001 -- but it's kind of unattractive otherwise.

Lately my favorite Astro is Andy Pettitte, though like so many people, I wish he would shave.
