Do you mean Araragi Koyomi?

Yeah! That evil homo!

[Pause.]

I have to say, I haven't seen any evidence that he's either evil or a homosexual. Unless you're not a homo sapiens and you're referring to him in that way.

Come to think of it, he did mention that...

He's deceiving you. Don't be fooled!

I'll... I'll certainly be on my guard. So you're from his world, hm?

Ah-- perhaps that's a confusing phrase if you haven't been made acquainted with the mechanics of this place yet.

Can you tell me more about this place?

A little more, perhaps, though there's a brochure that is distributed at the library that might be better than I.

Ahh! Thanks! I'll look for it later!

By the way, I'm Mayoi Hachikuji!

Certainly. I'd say it can be taken as the truth, more or less, though it should be kept in mind that it was merely written by one observer.

It's nice to meet you, Mayoi. Please call me Sasaki.

.........

[She's just trying to absorbe that, but I mean what. What did she get herself into?]

Geez, that sounds confusing! Who's the moron behind this? I'll kick him!

[Oh you don't sound half bad.]

Nice to meet you, Sasaki.

It is a very complicated situation, and it's not entirely clear who the ultimate moron behind it all is, but I'm sure he or she eminently deserves a kick or two... even if it is somewhat fascinating to meet the people of different worlds.

It's a little cool but isn't dangerous?

I'm sure that bastard knew we'd be confused!

It can be dangerous, but death is not permanent in Mayfield, so the dangers are to some extent limited. Of course, it doesn't rule out some unpleasant possibilities--but the benefits outweigh the dangers, in my opinion.

You can't die here? That's kind of upsetting...It's like they don't care about anything.

You can die, but you will wake up the next morning, apparently, essentially unharmed.

That is ... an interesting way to put it. Hm, yes, actually, I'd agree. Well put.

That's all there is to it?

[She's pissed off because they make dying sound easy. It sure as hell isn't. Color Mayoi upset. If Sasaki can hear it, Mayoi sounds a bit drained. ]
