The ex-wife was just notified by mail today. As of November 3rd, we were officially divorced. Now I can freely find someone who will make me happy instead of being so damn miserable for the last few years.

The only thing we are waiting on right now so the divorce can be finalized is a judge's signature. Wish he would hurry the hell up so I can move on with my life from that perspective.

Looks like we found a car this morning. I family friend who runs a body shop just happened to have a 2001 Chevy Malibu LS that he restored when the lady didn't want it repaired. Completely gone through and repainted among other things. It is so sweet! Now I just have to secure the financing at the beginning of next week. That is the next hurdle.

Just when I think I am getting a handle on things, it all comes back and smacks me in the face. Was doing just fine on making ends meet for the month despite the visit to the attorney's on Tuesday. This morning, I met with my attorney to go over the divorce agreement and she suggested only a few minor changes, mostly legalese stuff that better covers both Laurie and I should there be an issue in the future.
