Not a Good Computer Week

We've been having a bunch of issues with our computer lately, so I spent two days this week backing up files I wanted to keep and then I formatted the hard drive. Then, of course, I spent two days updating Windows XP, since once reinstalled, it needed 5 years worth of updates. It IS kind of awesome having a computer with literally NOTHING other

Avira Antivirus and Comodo Firewall are free and prevent a lot of crap from getting into your computer.

We HAVE virus software. According to what I was reading, the sectors of the hard drive are going bad.
