It's been awhile but I wrote something. Call it in celebration of the end of a semester.

Title: Yet We Will Make Him Run
Pairing: slight Charon/FLW if you read into it
Rating: PG13 only for language

It's rather long. And I'm pretty rusty when it comes to writing.

Although I haven't read your things before today, if you are indeed rusty, then I'd be scared to see how good you are when you aren't.

The flow of this from Charon's perspective is really well done; I love how the Lone Wanderer is described as having that vacant, innocent but searching gaze.

Something that would definitely set her apart from the brokeness of the other citizens of the Wastes.

I especially adore all the little quotes and her act at the end. Very nice work.

I find it hard to describe all my feelings when reading this. I like the study of how their outlooks on life are different given the different circumstances of how they’ve grown up.

I also like how Charon’s understanding of her develops through the story. I think it’s also a nice comment on how so many people there are simply preoccupied with staying alive and hoping for no more than making it through one day after the next, but none of them are trying to make things better.

I’d like to say more, but I’m worried the amount of alcohol I have consumed this evening is interfering with my sense-making abilities.

So anyway, fantastic story and excellent character development. Love the touch of the quotes linking with parts of the story too. I await more with much anticipation. :D
