I had to get home through it, so to take my mind off the fun'n'games that Hephaestus and Zeus were getting up to, I took photos whenever I was stopped, either in traffic or at the lights.

yes, I did. my new toy, so I'm taking photos of everything and anything to get used to it. digitals are wonderful that way.

12 megapixels, and 10x optical zoom. [which now means that I'm reduced to only bringing back photos when I go away]

I mean, I have to be able to use it successfully when we leave for Queenstown in a couple of weeks, don't I? ;D

Beautiful, if destructive. I LOVE storms. :) I will always remember the crazy storm that happened when I was in Brissy last year... even my folks in Canada heard about it!

oh, every now and then we will really 'turn on' a storm that makes the headlines. we're overdue for a cyclone, so that could be heard about OS ;)

a lot of people lost power for a while, and bits of tree were scattered around, but the rain has now made everything look very clean and green. I got home and inside safely, ;D
