Thank you (or thanks?) everyone for all the happy birthday wishes! I didn't actually do very much other than go out for coffee with twilightlver89 and another friend after classes. Maybe I'll properly celebrate nearing the holidays. I don't feel older, or at least no older than I felt when I went 'oh hey I'm in grad school ( Read more... )

Grading is one of the... let's say special delights of being a teacher, especially if you didn't make the assignment/test and can't figure out what's even supposed to be going on, let alone what the students did with it. >.>;

Yeah, it's even harder when you're not entirely clear of how partial credit should be handed out, but I guess it's based on the assumption that TAs are infallible when it comes to grading? Cause no one asked me about the grading, though they were rather offput by it.

Happy birthday! I hope you had something delicious when you went out for coffee to celebrate. ^^

I saw that you tagged me on your post and just decided to check live journal. Guess how long it's been since I have been on? Three years!

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm still the same way- it's like yay, I can count my physical and biological age now, but mental age seems to advance at its own pace?

Gen chem lab, thankfully. It's good and bad since I don't have to worry too much about a really dangerous spill or accident going on since they work with fairly harmless stuff, but at the same time it's also the student's first introduction to a lab in general, so.
