Loved Warehouse 13! If you haven't watch Eureka...you should. It was the show it spun off from :)
Grimm...I started watching that forever ago, I don't even think I watched the first 5 episode. I should get on that again...good to know that it's on Amazon Prime.
It is pretty enjoyable so far! And wasn't it Eureka and Alphas with Warehouse 13 that were part of the weird triumvirate of SyFy shows that occupied the same universe and that also all got canceled?
Grimm is...kind of an odd procedural show? There's an excessive amount of German on the show, and it sort of drifts from the monster of the week format as it goes on. It's up to season 3 on Amazon right now, though.
So I haven't actually ever watched it either, but all I've been informed of is that it does take place in the same universe as Warehouse 13 and and that it got canceled after 1 season because SyFy didn't want to bother spending time in that universe anymore.
Don't talk to me about weather. I've stopped posting as much about it, but that's because I hate reminding myself of the fact that it's goddamn March and it's still goddamn snowing. AAarrrgksdjhksgjsf. /rant.
Gjallarhorn is a very fancy word. The most accurate meaning is probably a horn that is used to make a signal. Sort of like the one Boromir had in Lord of the Rings. But like I said before, and like you mentioned, it's also a fancy word for megaphone.
I agree with you on neutral default icons. I very rarely use mine when commenting, though.
I've taken to assuming that you're drowning in snow until explicitly stated that the snow's finally over. Which is hopefully in about a week at least, seeing that's when spring's supposed to start. I guess at the very least, the weather is trying to keep to it's appointed schedule/living up to the name of Iceland? Or maybe you'll start getting more sun?
Up until you told me about that, I'd assumed that it was a name of a specific horn and not just a word for signal horns in general. Albeit a fancy word.
Yeah, I feel like unless there's a net neutral comment you're trying to make, there's usually some sort of tone you want to set/respond with? Or unless you're just lazy and don't want to bother picking on, which I'm guilty of.
I know! Farewell freezing rain and snow and hello spring already? The poor plants must be so confused. But 50s is getting somewhere! At the least, you're no longer in Siberia/sub-zero temperatures.
