As title says, an intro post since most of this journal is f-locked. This gets updated maybe once a year.
I tend to use the same name most anywhere I can, since it stuck with me and it's rarely taken.

My actual participation in fandom tends to be limited, so the above is more a very quick estimation of the things that I happen to watch/read- tumblr is a good catalog and more likely to be updated, but by no means complete.
I read less than I used to (excepting academic papers) and write less than I wish I would due to time constraints. watch a lot of shows and read less than I'd like/used to, which may say something. I play games, of the board and console and computer variant, as well as Magic: the Gathering. I tend to get attached to characters in shows/books and narratives.
I have a large capacity for imbibing alcohol and tend to drink a lot of coffee. I dislike using the exclamation mark, since I think it looks awkward tacked onto sentences.
Also in grad school as a PhD candidate for chemistry. It's even less glamorous than it sounds.
