Happy Valentine's Day, Single Awareness Day, Consumer Celebration Day, Farcical Romance Day, Random Romance Tuesday, etc and etc. This is the 21st Valentine's that I'll be celebrating on my own, but that's not the point.

And I just finished up S2 of Downton Abbey- what a cheery way to celebrate and it's almost 4 and I'm still in lab prepping things.

They kind of are, only so long as the e. coli decides to grow and not die. If they die, it's just kind of a morose present saying 'Here, have with my love hundreds of dead organisms'.
