I was basically cheering up a friend of mine, and since we're both Yankee fans and Golden Girls fans, I figured I'd combine the two!
OK, those of you who watch the Golden Girls...you know how Sophia tells those stories about Sicily? Well...
"Picture it, New York, 2002...a young girl from Lawn Guyland meets the man of her dreams at Yankee Stadium after they lose the playoffs. He's sad, so she consoles him...at which point they proceed to have their own "World Series" right there in the Yankee dugout. Well...that young girl was me. And that man was...Jason Giambi!"
