You definitely sold the concept; this is just Dean all the way. Great movement--it's kind of floaty and gentle which somehow makes Dean's tragedy even more painful. That last shot of Sam opening his eyes is heartbreaking. Quit making me emote to the Smiths!
Oh, thank you! I really haven't done this kind of visual style before and I generally feel a little uncomfortable with slower songs, so I'm really glad you liked it!
Aw, I really like this. Watched it a couple of times so far, and although it's a simple song, it's really well put together, each section distinct and readable. And, hey, Dean's a simple guy
( ... )
I'm really glad you enjoyed it - the layering in particular is something I'm getting used to, so I'm happy you liked it. And I'm so pleased that you were affected even by the more familiar scenes - yes, I totally imagine that as Dean watched Sam die all he could think about was the times he protected him and how Sam must have been expecting his protection now and he wasn't there and ... okay, now I'm depressing myself again :-(.

And, yes, isn't that song so ridiculously Dean?
Quit making me emote to the Smiths!
Why would you want me to?
