This is very good. Provokes both an "oh, Sammy!" reaction *and* an "...oh, crap, *Sam*" one. The visual movement throughout is good, but in the final chorus it's kind of a thing of beauty. (In context, rather effed-up beauty, but beauty nonetheless! *g*) Lovely!

HOLY HELL. That was smoking hot. Awesome job. GREAT use of all the amazingly HOTASS Sam footage Season Four has provided.

Love big, huge Sam circling Dean in the beginning, and the cutting between the sex and Sam's desperate demon pushing was amazingly effective.

Although you obviously did a fantastic job communicating the Wincest, the reason I love the vid is that Sam's needy desperation to believe in something--and his tendency to put Dean in that position even while he fights against his own tendencies to try and have his own life and the struggle this all brings about, sometimes to the point of hurting Dean--is extremely canonical, and examined here in its full fucked-up glory. If that makes any sense.

Seriously, I'm so, so happy that the storyline came through for you - of course, it's pretty much the actual, umm, show, but still. As soon as I heard the song I knew it was just so Sam.

Hee. I DO know where the Wincesters are coming from, and I can admire the church even if I don't pray at the altar myself. But, like I said, so many of the issues here are completely canonical that it works as a strong Sam character study, too. A HOT one.

As others have commented, really great sense of movement. Loved the overlays with the clock and the red. Thought the use of the dead guy in the car was also truly awesome and terrifying. I'd forgotten that shot.

Thank you again - and by the way, the red was actually there - I didn't add it! It turns out - and sockkpuppet commented at the time - there was a lot of use of reds and yellows in S3, even though overall I thought the season visually was ugly as hell. And there are several driving scenes where yellow lights and red lights flash constantly over the car; it's gorgeous.

Anyway, I'm really really glad that you liked it; I wanted it to mesh with a canon on a non-Wincest level so I'm happy you thought it succeeded!
