middle of the night ramblings

As usual, I can't sleep - I have been thinking a lot over the past two weeks about how people view the older generation. It seems like the more educated the person is, the less tolerance they have for the elderly. We fired a doctor not once but twice last week for being rude and uncooperative with us. It's not just being rude to the elderly, doctors like that are rude to most of their patients. Apparently he saw you as the caretaker or witness, and therefore the person in power. Why such people want to go into the medical profession in the first place is beyond me. Apparently it was for the "money and prestige" instead of caring for other human beings. Unfortunately, as far as I know, medical schools don't give psychological screenings, personality testing, or classes in compassion to their students to insure their fitness to deal with the public.

My phone works 24/7... call if you need to talk. I don't sleep all that much anyway, so you are likely to catch me awake and just as lonely as you anyway!!!
